A natural sandstone rock in the Negev desert, weathered into the shape of a face. Reconstructed from a single photo with Step1X-3D in 3D Mate and printed as one solid, watertight piece. Geometry only, so it prints in a single color.
Step1X-3D is a sharp-geometry engine, a good fit for a rocky, faceted subject like this. One clear photo of the formation was enough to rebuild its silhouette and carved features as a printable solid.
One clear, front-on photo of the rock, standing clear of the horizon. A plain sky behind the subject makes the cut-out clean and the shape easy to read.
Drop the photo in and pick Step1X-3D for crisp, printable geometry. It runs on your Mac and builds a watertight mesh. This one used the Balanced preset, geometry only.
Export STL or 3MF, open it in your slicer, scale to size, add supports for the overhangs, and print. Prime and paint if you want stone color. See the 3D printing guide.
